Accreditation application for MEDIA/PRESS
Welcome to apply for press accreditation for Sweden Rock Festival 2024.
Please read all the following information carefully.

Applications submitted after this date will not be processed.
General
Note that your application is individual. You cannot add more people in the "Others" field; each individual must submit a separate application.
If you, as an applicant, do not have a Swedish personal identification number, please enter the last four digits as 0000.
Accreditation Requirements
To be accredited for Sweden Rock Festival, you need to have a clear and verifiable assignment to cover the festival, issued by an established newspaper or other reputable media channel.
Those accredited represent the media/newspaper/channel they are affiliated with. This means there is no guarantee that you, as an individual, will be accredited this year just because you were accredited at the previous festival.
Please fill in all the details in the application system, including the employer (named person with phone number). It is mandatory to include links to your published Sweden Rock material from the last time you were accredited with us.
We are meticulous in the application process, and we may contact your employer to verify your assignment. The number of spaces is limited, and there is no guarantee that a media outlet will be accredited for the same number of journalists/photographers as in previous years.
If the information in the application is not complete with functioning links and/or relevant material from previous assignments, there is a risk that we will not be able to process your application.
Also note that even if all desired criteria are met, the number of free accreditations is limited. If you represent a smaller channel, you may be approved for access to the festival and press area in exchange for purchasing a regular ticket. This decision, as in previous years, is made by the press team. If you receive this decision, you can either exchange your pre-purchased ticket, pay on-site, or prepay by invoice. Choose your payment method in the form.
If you are not willing to pay and would rather refrain from covering the festival if this decision is made, select "Not interested in accreditation with payment" in the form.
Note: Your choice of payment method does not affect our assessment of whether you should be awarded free accreditation or not.
If you are granted accreditation, you are guaranteed a ticket even if tickets are sold out.
Prices for cash payment on-site
The festival transitioned to four full days in 2023, and we will therefore not offer any 3-day tickets in 2024.
NOTE: Check only for 1 day or all 4 days. If you check 3 days, you will be automatically charged for a 4-day ticket. If you check for 2 days, you will be charged for 2 separate 1-day tickets.
4 days: 3900 SEK
1 day: 1600 SEK
Media wristband
Collect your media wristband at the Accreditation, located on the other side of road 508. Check our app or website map to find it.
Press Tent
The press tent is at your disposal and will be located adjacent to the VIP area. The press tent is a workspace designed to facilitate your work and provide you with a place to take a break. As it is a workspace, alcohol consumption is not allowed in the press tent, and if you are under the influence, you should not stay inside.
Photo Pass
New this year is that we replace photo vests with photo passes/laminates to be worn around the neck and must be on at all times.
FOTO A and FOTO B give you access to the photo pits, with FOTO A meaning you are prioritized in case of limitations in the photo pits. FOTO B gives access to the photo pits subject to availability. FOTO C indicates that you are allowed to take photos in the festival area but do not have access to the photo pits.
If there are several of you from the same media, you will only be assigned one photo pass A or B, the rest will receive FOTO C. The maximum number of photographers in the photo pit in front of the stage naturally limits the total number of photo passes we can distribute. Demand to photograph in the pit has exceeded capacity for many years, and this will likely be the case again this year. Decisions on who gets access to the photo pass are made by the press team in May.
PLEASE NOTE that we have a zero-tolerance policy for alcohol in the photo pit, and you will not be granted access if you are under the influence.
Camping and Parking
Due to limited space, we unfortunately cannot offer any specific press camping or press parking. Everyone must arrange this through private camping and parking providers in the nearby area. We wish you a pleasant and rewarding experience while covering Sweden Rock, and our press team is on hand to help and facilitate for you! With over 300 accredited journalists on-site, we find it challenging to accommodate specific personal requests or deviations from the guidelines due to various concerns.
